This collection of docs relate to ES-bus digital serial control protocols and standards from the early to mid 1980's

The original standards organizations and publishers retain copyright over these docs and they are presented here on a temporary basis without permission.  These docs are not modified and the various standard organizations still, at this time, offer them up for download... 

The purpose of presenting this collection here is to provide in one place a set of reference materials relating to ES-bus control of equipments that are largely obsolete in professional application and are no longer supported by the original manufacturers.

The various dedicated remote control devices may have broken down or separated from the equipment they were meant to control.

The is no economic support for developing and/or manufacturing replacement controller products however many of the users of this older gear have some need and various DIY and hobbiest types have suggested a willingness to write control applications that can run on a PC or other modern device that can talk serial via an RS422 adaptor

Due to the lack of permissions this directory must be considered temporary and the documents contained herein may be deleted at any time
