technicalaudio.com is operated and maintained by John Klett. The purposes for the site are two. One is as a resource to those dedicated to high quality professional audio, primarily as applied to music recording and reproduction. The other is to provide some info about John Klett, TechMecca and some of the people and companies he works with. The site is not updated on any regular schedule but from time to time it happens.

John Klett has been active in professional audio since moving to New York in 1976. Before that he was playing and recording music and doing some live sound, P.A. and theater lighting in and around Harford County, Maryland. In New York he moved from assisting (`76-`79) to engineering and producing (`77-`85, `94-`95) to playing drums, percussion and synths in various bands and studio projects (`78-`84) to full time technical services (`85-`00) to a blend of nearly all of these activities (2000 to present, no theater lighting). Klett is currently owner and president of Tech Mecca, Inc..
